Coronavirus Information

We are excited to be conducting services in person again! At Northlight, your health and safety are very important. As Gov. Holcomb has declared churches essential, and published guidelines for us to safely return to in-person gatherings after May 8, 2020, we have implemented multiple layers of protection. In order to ensure our attendance is in accordance with social distancing recommendations, we will be conducting two Sunday morning services at 9:30am, and 11:00am, and one Wednesday evening service at 7:00pm. We plan to resume our normal schedule of services, Sunday School classes, and nursery on July 5th. If you plan to attend, please review the following information.

Health Recommendations

  • If you have flu-like symptoms, a fever, or a regular cough, please stay home and watch online.

  • If you are over 65, or have underlying conditions that put you in the high risk category, the State of Indiana is recommending you stay home, and continue watching services online. If you decide to attend, please consider wearing a mask and taking all steps suggested by the CDC to protect your health while in public. To see those recommendations click here, or follow the link below.

Service Format and Seating

  • Doors will be open 10 minutes prior to each service, and will be closed within 10 minutes after the service.

  • No nurseries or childcare will be provided at this time. We understand kids are kids, and we want you to feel comfortable to sit in the service with them. If they become unruly or distracting, feel free to exit the auditorium until they calm down and you are able to rejoin the service.

  • Members of the same family may sit together.

  • Those who are not members of the same household should sit with at least two seats, or six feet, separating you from others in attendance.

  • No hymnals or song books will be used at this time.

  • Offering plates will be placed near the exit for those who would like to give.

Personal Contact

  • Please avoid hugging, handshaking, or any other form of physical contact with others.

Cleaning and Disinfecting

  • A thorough sanitation will be conducted before, and in-between services.

  • Sanitizing stations will be located in the building.

  • If you have your own hand sanitizer, it is highly recommended you bring it.

Sunday and Wednesday Evening Services

  • On June 3, we plan to resume Wednesday evening services, and on July 5th, we plan to resume all normal service schedules and activities, including Sunday School classes and nursery. Until that time, Sunday evening services will continue to be conducted online, and we will continue having two Sunday morning Services at 9:30am, and 11:00am.
